Cycling for Food

In 2024 a prolonged drought in Zambia severely affected the harvest, causing food shortages and high prices. We sent emergency funds to provide staple foodstuffs for all the children in the Project. Deciding it would be a good idea to have a reserve fund for food for future needs (given the damaging effects of climate change), Malcolm and Simon are cycling the C2C (from one side of the country to the other) to raise this money.

They'll set off from Whitehaven in Cumbria on Saturday 3 May, tackle a hilly route (including Hartside Pass!!) and plan to arrive in Tynemouth on the north east coast on Monday 5 May.
